• Ovulation must first take place
• The sperm must travel far enough into the fallopian tube to fertilize the egg
• The fertilized egg must travel through the fallopian tube towards the uterus
• Pregnancy begins when the fertilized egg implants in the womb
What Happens During Your Fertility Acupuncture Consultation?
In evaluating your fertility, these are some of the questions that will be asked during your intake
Females :
What is your timeframe of trying to conceive?
What is your menstrual cycle like?
Do you have any history of miscarriages?
Do you struggle with menstrual cramps or abdominal pains?
Do you have abnormal vaginal discharge?
Do you have any other medical conditions e.g. thyroid, diabetes, weight gain, cancer etc?
Males:
What is your timeframe of trying to conceive?
Do you have any injuries to your genitalia?
Any medical conditions or past surgery?
Do you have any reports from your Urologist?
When was your last semen analysis?
